2018 - ongoing I Hegenheim I Bern For her thesis in Fine Arts, IPek intensely researched the different shades of sorrow. As her way to recover from burn-out was to heal herself through songs, this research took more than a year. During this period she had regular performances in cooperation with the musicians of Inside the Baxter Building. Here, she sang and danced on the stage mostly expressing grief, sorrow, hüzün, acı, Trauer, Kummer, bánat, bú. First, she focused on three of these emotions and wrote poetic texts about them for her diploma performance. Since then, depending on the current political and personal situation, she has been researching and releasing mourning songs regularly.
